Happy Easter!

Just a short message to wish you all Happy Easter! I expect you’re all looking forward to a long weekend and hope you’re doing something nice.

I am currently soup fasting in Bad Orb so there are no chocolate Easter bunnies for me this year! Although I am trying to be very good, the scales (Waage) seem to have gone on strike, hopefully not because of the secret coffee we are enjoying every day 😊.

I recently came across this website of the interesting (polite way of saying crazy) Easter traditions in other countries.

As an egg lover, I like the idea of getting together to eat a giant omelette on Easter Monday in France although you’d probably be quite sick of eggs afterwards! It is interesting that the word ‘Wanderlust’ is actually an English word for ‘the wish to travel far away and to many different places’, similar to ‘Fernweh’ in German.
